How does it work?

A:

The The Sanitizer service comes to your home every four weeks, the day of your regular trash collection day.

Q:

How much does it cost?

A:

The cost per cleaning is $6.00 per cleaning, per can. 

Q:

Do I have to pre-pay for the entire year?

A:

No. We do have an option to pay monthly, but the cost increases to about $8.00 per cleaning vs about $6.00 per cleaning when prepaid quarterly. Since we still require an quarterly subscription to the service, most of our customers pre-pay for the quarter. 

Q:

Will you provide a one-time cleaning?

A:

No, I am sorry we do not. This is an quarterly subscription to a routine maintenance program which allows us to keep the cost per cleaning as low as possible. And the first cleaning usually takes several times longer than subsequent maintenance cleanings.  

Q:

If I sign up, when will you clean my cans?

A:

We will contact you when we receive your order regarding the next service date in your neighborhood.  

Q:

Do I have to sign up ALL of my trash cans?

A:

No. You tell us which of your trash cans you want to put on the quarterly maintenance program.  

Q:

Can I alternate or rotate cans each cleaning cycle?

A:

No. Each container has its own identification and will be cleaned each service cycle.

Q:

What happens if I move out of a The Sanitizer service area?

A:

If you relocate out of a The Sanitizer service area, we will pro-rate your service fees and refund you accordingly.
 

Q:

If I miss my service date because of my mistake, will you reschedule my service day?
 

A:

Again, if at all possible we will. But considering the volume of business that we have and the fact that our truck is scheduled in particular areas on particular days, this may be impossible for us to do.
 

Q:

What if you miss my service date because of your mistake, e.g. an equipment breakdown?

A:

In the rare event that we miss your service date because of our error (see Service Agreement), we will reschedule your service date for a day as soon as possible, or if that is not possible, we will credit you for the missed cycle of service, i.e. extend your paid period an extra service cycle at no cost to you.
